Thanks Fern. Shots at 200mm between 1/1000 sec F6.3 & 1/2000 sec F4. I wanted to freeze the movement of the birds, knowing the shallow DOF would mean that many would be out of focus. However that gave the 3D to the images.
It was great fun as the birds rose up into the sky and circled and then landed up the beach aways, and the process repeated
Oh wow! Stunning (and i mean STUNNING) works! I am just a tiny beginner amateur and your work is so beautiful and inspiring! Thank you so much for taking some time to look at my pictures and thank you for allowing me to discover you! Wishing you a beautiful day :) Sharon
Thanks for your comments Sharon. Its good to follow you, photographs taken for love and as a passion. So many of my photographs are for work, there are more on my Tumblr that are personal, but I need inspiration and I love to see how others see the world. I found you on The Photographers Society, after I had one of my submissions posted - which was nice! so I had a few moments to see what caught my eye and you were one of the names that popped up who liked my stuff. I try to look at as many bloggers work as possible and you’ve got so many gentle kind images of an incredible city and country I visited for work many years ago. All those things lead me to follow your blog and I really like what I’ve seen there
